Any Time, Any Space: A World-State-Centric Framework for Agentic Video Generation

HF ★ 45 · Weijie Wang, Haomin Zhang, Ye Li… · HF Mirror

To address the pain point of poor cross-shot spatiotemporal consistency in long video agent generation, this paper proposes the ATAS framework: it converts scripts into shot requests annotated with position, camera, and time information, retrieves references from dual memory banks for static scene geometry and dynamic events, and only updates the memory after the generated result passes verification. This framework is compatible with multiple types of video generation base models, outperforming existing methods in metrics such as cross-shot consistency, scene reproduction, and human evaluation.

LatentLoop: Scaling Looped MoE Models with Asymmetric Compute Allocation

HF ★ 31 · Zefeng He, Yunkai Chai, Xiaoyang Chen… · HF Mirror

Focusing on the asymmetric role of different iterations in recurrent Mixture of Experts (MoE) models, this paper proposes the LatentLoop method: the first iteration compresses the sequence to reduce computational load, the second iteration retains full resolution, and the saved computing power is used to increase the hidden layer size. MoE weights are shared across iterations, and independent attention parameters are used to adapt to different resolutions. Experiments on 1.3B to 7B parameter models show that with the same performance, this method saves 19% of computing power compared to standard MoE, and 7.9% compared to recurrent baselines, with improved zero-shot/few-shot benchmark scores across all parameter size ranges.

Seeing, Maintaining, and Learning: The Evolution of Multimodal Agent Memory

HF ★ 23 · Minghao Guo, Qingyue Jiao, Xiujin Liu… · HF Mirror

To address the pain point that multimodal agents struggle to continuously obtain valid information from heterogeneous multimodal data in long-cycle, lifelong task scenarios, this study proposes a dual-axis analysis framework: Axis 1 sorts out the retention rules and encoding forms of multimodal information, and Axis 2 divides memory management into three layers: static reuse, dynamic update with fixed policies, and policy self-evolution. Based on the framework, core principles for memory design are summarized, and future research challenges and directions in this field are also pointed out.

LensErase: A Foundation Model for Erase Anything

HF ★ 23 · Yunuo Chen, Xiuyu Wu, Qinhong Yang… · HF Mirror

This paper proposes LensErase, a general foundation model for arbitrary erasure that covers various real-world erasure scenarios including objects, text, and watermarks. The team built a large-scale erasure dataset containing 101 million sample pairs, performed adaptive training based on the text-to-image model Lens, proposed mask-aware RoPE to inject mask information, and paired it with dedicated fine-tuning strategies and inference fidelity schemes. Its performance is significantly leading in multiple benchmark tests, and it can provide base support for erasure-related applications.

Beyond Domain-Routed Supervision: Cross-Teacher Guarding for Multi-Teacher On-Policy Distillation

HF ★ 18 · Shi-Yu Tian, Yong Liu, Ximan Liu… · HF Mirror

To solve the problem that the original domain routing mechanism in multi-teacher online distillation is prone to gradient conflicts and performance degradation due to differences in teacher styles and expertise, this paper proposes the Road MOPD method with cross-teacher guarding. It introduces non-routing teachers as cross-domain critics, and coordinates multi-source supervision through token-level credit allocation and adaptive gradient projection. Experiments show that its performance improves by more than 5 percentage points in high-conflict scenarios, degradation in weak domains is alleviated, and overall performance across multiple scenarios is better.

Harness Engineering for Self-Improvement

Lilian Weng

This article sorts out the development history of the concept of Recursive Self-Improvement (RSI): In 1965, scholar Irving John Good first proposed the relevant concept, referring to systems with superhuman intelligence that can independently design better models to achieve iterative upgrades. In 2008, Eliezer Yudkowsky clarified its core feedback logic, that is, AI relies on its existing intelligence to optimize its own cognitive generation mechanism. The implementation of RSI in the modern AI context can be divided into two categories: directly rewriting its own weights, or optimizing the training pipeline.
